JACK ROSMARIN (Mr. Green) –Jack is thrilled to be making his debut with The Center Players, and is very happy to be working with a skilled and sensitive director like Bernice Szita as well as a wonderfully talented young actor like Mike Quirk. He won the 2002 Perry Award for Best Actor for his performance in; Catch Me If You Can, which he also directed for the Mighty Oak Players in Monroe Township. He has previously appeared in many local area productions such as; It’s A Scream, for which he received a 2007 Perry Award nomination as outstanding actor in an ensemble role, Leader Of The Pack, Phantom The Musical, Fiddler On The Roof, Sisters Rosensweig, Annie, It’s A Wonderful Life (Clarence), which he also directed, On Borrowed Time, Death Of A Salesman , and as Abe in Beau Jest for which he received a Best Actor A.C.T. Award nomination. Films: Jack recently starred as Freddy in “Freddy’s Anxiety” and as Mr. Silverberg in “The Megaplex” . Television: The Chappelle Show and The Upright Citizens Brigade, on the Comedy Channel, 100 Centre St. on A&E. Off- Broadway: Adam’s Wedding” at the Wings theater in Manhattan. Jack sends his love and devotion to the two women who are the center of his universe; his wife Michelle and his daughter Melissa. |

MIKE QUIRK (Ross)—is very excited to making his Center Players debut in a role that will surely be added to his list of favorites. A lifelong lover of theatre, Mike has been seen in over three dozen shows in and around Middlesex and Monmouth Counties. His favorite roles include Tom/Phyllis/Leslie in Sylvia, Arnold in Send Me No Flowers, and his many appearances in Little Shop. Most recently, Mike appeared as Norman Petty in Buddy: The Buddy Holly Story at Middlesex County’s Plays in the Park. He also spends time in the director’s chair for Middlesex Borough where he teaches Audio and Video Production, and this past spring directed a stellar cast of young adults in Disney’s Aladdin Jr. Mike would like to thank Jack and Bernice for this excellent opportunity and the whole Center Players family for welcoming him with open arms.

Bernice Garfield-Szita - Director - Bernice is delighted to have the opportunity to direct Visitng Mr. Green with such a marvelous cast and crew. She has been with Center Players Since 1995 and was a member of the original board that opened the doors to Center Playhouse in 2001. She brings over 40 years experience in theater and the arts to her work with Center Players. She co-directed Crossing Delancey, directed the Immigrant, Steel Magnolias, Real Women Have Curves and Lost in Yonkers. She also played “The Director” in Play On. As current President of Center Players, she loves the opportunity to help bring high quality live theater to the community and to be a part of one of the finest theater families in Monmouth County! In her “day job”, Bernice co-directs Contemporary Counseling Center and ActionArtz Training Institute with her husband Bob. |
